12 V 10 A Stereo Speaker Protection PCB Board (Bare PCB)

This PCB is designed for building a stereo speaker protection circuit with delay and DC fault detection. Performance depends on components used and assembly quality.

Working Voltage:

  • Input supply: 0 to 12 V AC
  • Onboard rectifier and regulator support operation with input up to 30 V AC

Current Capacity:

  • Relay switching current: up to 10 A (using standard “sugar cube” relay, depends on relay used)

Protection Features:

  • Turn-on delay: approximately 1 to 2 seconds to prevent speaker damage from power-on/off transients
  • DC detection: relay remains OFF if DC voltage above approximately 2 V is present at speaker output
  • Fault condition detection prevents relay activation to protect speakers
