Stereo Bass Mid Treble Board
There was continuous demand for a Bass Treble Board which will run by Transistors instead of IC's.
But we wanted to make a BT board which has performance at par with Hifi BT boards made with op amp ic's,
Attached a High performance amplifier to Bass Treble circuit and results were excellent,
If you see the amplifier circuit carefully it looks similar to many of our power amps.
The Bass Treble circuit was originally designed by Respected Peter J Baxandall, later Mid was added in the original circuit. Many Variations of this circuit are available on internet.
We adapted that same BT circuit in our other boards also.

This circuit has three main sections namely - Power supply Rectifier, Bass Mid treble section and Amplifier Section.
Power supply section -
AC input supply at J1 is converted to DC by diode D1,D2,D3,D4 and filtered by C1, C2, C3,C4.
Filtered DC Voltage is supplied to Both transistor amplifiers.
Bass treble section -
This classic bass treble circuit designed by respected Peter J Baxandall was First published in Wireless World in 1952. You can see, nothing significant has changed since then. the following description is for one channel.
Input signal received through C1. At high frequencies the impedance of C12 is small and the bass control RV2 is effectively shorted out and R7, R8 give unity GAIN. At low frequencies RV2 is active with maximum boost / cut is set by end-stop resistors R7, R8.
At high frequencies again, C10 has a low impedance and treble control RV1 is active, with maximum boost / cut is set by end-stop resistors R3, R4. at low frequencies C10 has a high impedance, so RV2 has no effect.

as with the Op amp tone control circuits, Bass Mid Treble are connected between input and Feedback.
this amplifier has very good PSRR so voltage regulators are not necessary.
