This power supply circuit is quite simple.
AC input received from transformer is converted in to DC by Bridge rectifier D1.
Always use heatsink with bridge rectifier because without heatsink the bridge rectifier will only output 2 - 4 amperes and gets hot.
So with the use of suitable heatsink we can get full current output from the bridge rectifier.
C1, C3 are Filter capacitors on the positive rail.
C2, C4 are Filter capacitors on negative rail.
Leds D2 & D3 with R1 & R2 used to indicate supply status.
JP1 & JP2 are Wire Jumpers.
Advanced Features - as we can see in the circuit diagram, C1 and C3 is separated by jumper JP1, C2 and C4 is separated by JP2. in normal case a simple wire connector is sufficient.
* working voltage and output current vary, please read datasheet carefully.
PCB designed with thick copper tracks & large solder pads to facilitate straightforward placement and soldering of components.
